Jeffrey Alan Drost, 47, of Janesville, WI, died Tuesday, March 17, 2009 in Mercy Hospital.
He was born June 22, 1961 in Rockford, IL, the son of James Robert and Bonnie Jean Knutson Drost. He loved fishing and golfing.
Survivors include his two children, Marissa Drost and Grace Drost; his mother, Bonnie Drost of Punta Gorda, FL; brothers and sisters, James (Margaret) Drost of Punta Gorda, FL, Kathleen (Ken) Lowman of Fort Mead, MD, Christine (James) Gross of Janesville, WI, and Timothy (Chris Thompson) Drost of Janesville, WI; half brothers, Gary Drost and Mike (Sherry) Drost; half sister, Cindy (Eric) Roe; nieces and nephews, Joshua, Jennifer, Jaime, Jimmy, Kelsey, James, Molly, Kaeliegh and Alexzander; uncle, Reuben (Sharon) Knutson of Beloit, WI; aunt, Alice (Rodney) Douglas of Beloit, WI.
The family would like to extend their gratitude to Pam, Janesville Hospice and the 3rd floor surgical staff at Mercy Hospital.
He was predeceased by his father, several aunts and uncles.
A celebration of Jeffrey’s life will be from 12 to 3 p.m. Saturday, March 21, 2009 at the Marine Corp. League, 3807 Riverside Dr., Beloit, WI. Private graveside services will be held at East Lawn Cemetery. Daley Murphy Wisch & Associates Funeral Home and Crematorium 2355 Cranston Road, Beloit, WI, assisted the family with arrangements.
