Richard A. Dopp, 61, of Beloit, WI died Sunday, May 10, 2009 in Mercy Hospital, Janesville, WI.
Richard was born December 10, 1947, the son of H.R. and Elizabeth “Betty” (White) Dopp. Richard was a 1966 graduate of Beloit Memorial High School. He was a veteran of the United States Army serving in Vietnam. Richard married Stephanie Biermann and later married Suzanne “Suzy” Satness.
Richard retired from Norgren Hydraulics, Rockford, IL as an accountant controller where he spent time traveling overseas. After his retirement, he spent time as a hobby farmer.
Survivors include his son, Matthew (Deanna) Dopp of Bellville, WI; six grandchildren, Morgan Dibble, Savanna, Lexie, and Trenton Eisch, Kayden and Steffi Dopp; two brothers, John (Kathy) Dopp of Beloit, WI and James Dopp of Park Falls, WI; one sister, Barbara (Albert) Klingenberg of South Beloit, IL; three nephews, Jeff (Kim) Dopp, Bill (Dea) Dopp, Jeff (Kimberly) Nichols; two nieces, Jane (Scott) Shank and JoElyn (Mark) Holmes; three cousins, Bert, Ben, and David Dopp.
He was predeceased by his parents and wife, Suzy.
Per Richard’s wishes there will be no services.
