Obituary:
Thomas W. Eldridge, 66, of Janesville, WI died Sunday, September 20, 2009 in Mercy Hospital. He was born April 29, 1943 in Wauwatosa, WI, the son of Robert C. and Barbara L. Boss Eldridge. Thomas was a 1961 graduate of Beloit Memorial High School. He married Sharon L. Ray on May 23, 1964 in Rockford, IL. Thomas was employed as a grinder with Woodward Governor and later with the Sundstrand Corporation. He was a member of the Loyal Order of the Moose Lodge #197. Thomas was an accomplished accordion player who enjoyed playing polka music. He was a man who loved life, especially spending time with his family and grandchildren. Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Sharon Eldridge of Janesville, WI; three children, Dan (Angie) Eldridge, Connie (John) Hanmer both of Beloit, WI, and Donald (Dawn) Eldridge of Milwaukee, WI; nine grandchildren; four great grandchildren; six brothers and sister, Robert (Gloria) Eldridge, Jerry (Kathy) Eldridge, Duane (Bronda) Eldridge, Dianne (Larry) Musser, Rick Eldridge all of Rockford, IL, and Sharon Wilkin of Australia; numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, and brother, Michael Eldridge. Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. Friday, September 25, 2009 in Daley Murphy Wisch & Associates Funeral Home and Crematorium, 2355 Cranston Road, Beloit, WI with Reverend Gene Van Galder officiating. Burial will be in East Lawn Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 12:30 p.m. until the time of service in the funeral home.
