Samuel Richard Clutter, 68, of Beloit, WI, died Sunday, October 25, 2009 in his home.
He was born October 28, 1940 in Rockford, IL, the son of Samuel R. and Evelyn (DelNegro) Clutter Sr. Samuel attended Racine schools. He married Joan Lucas on June 10, 1961 in St. Patrick’s Church, Rockford, IL.
Samuel was employed by General Motors as a driver. He enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles and traveling.
Survivors include his wife, Joan Clutter of Beloit, WI; children, Carie (Peter) Mueller of Waukesha, WI, Craig Clutter of Palm Coast, FL, and Jeffry Clutter of Beloit, WI; grandchildren, Ryan, Kyle, Colin and Brandon Clutter, Stephanie, Jennifer and Katie Mueller; brothers and sisters, Evelyn “Lyn”Carlson of Rockford, IL, Tim (Akiko) Clutter of Roscoe, IL, Dan (Margo) Clutter of Rockford, IL, Cami Irwin of Texas, Jim (Kathie) Clutter of Rockford, IL, Chris Clutter of WI, and Candace (George) McMahon of Rockford, IL; numerous nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents.
A memorial visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, October 29, 2009 in the Daley Murphy Wisch & Associates Funeral Home and Crematorium 2355 Cranston Road, Beloit, WI.
