Patrick W. Farrell, 48, of Beloit, WI died Saturday, October 31, 2009 in Boone County, IL from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
He was born March 5, 1961 in Beloit, WI the son of Patrick L. and Arnetta Ward Farrell. Patrick was a 1979 graduate of Beloit Memorial High School. He married Dawn Fritz on July 23, 2005 in Las Vegas, NV.
Patrick was employed by Dean Foods in Chemung, IL working in maintenance. He loved fishing, hunting, and camping. Patrick’s biggest hobby was his son, Dustin.
Survivors include his wife, Dawn Farrell of Beloit, WI; son Dustin Farrell of Beloit, WI; step children, Christina (Pat) McNinch of Machesney Park, IL, Brandon (Stephanie) Barber of Rockford, IL, Kaylie Barber of Byron, IL, and Joey Nordman of Beloit, WI; three grandchildren, Macie, Madison, and Lailah; mother, Arnetta Schoonover of Beloit, WI; brother, Jeff Schoonover of Beloit, WI; six sisters, Diana (Glen) Shockley of South Beloit, IL, Madeline Dorrene (Mike) Coleman of Beloit, WI, Pam Gerber of Janesville, WI, Zandra Schoonover, Kathi Schoonover, and Tamara (Dave) Ellenberger all of Beloit, WI; father-in-law, Gene Fritz of Winslow, IL; several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, aunts and uncles; and his niece and god daughter, Carla Cornell.
He was predeceased by his father, Pat Farrell, step father, Marvin Schoonover, and mother-in-law, Gail Bradford.
Funeral services will be 5:30 p.m. Thursday, November 5, 2009 in Daley Murphy Wisch & Associates Funeral Home and Crematorium, 2355 Cranston Road, Beloit, WI with Pastor David Meding officiating. Visitation will be Thursday from 4:30 p.m. until the time of service in the funeral home.
