Anita M. Briano, 56, of Beloit, WI, died Monday, November 9, 2009 in her home.
She was born January 28, 1953 in Cheyenne, WY, the daughter of Armando and Aurora (Perez) Martinez. Anita married Ezequiel Briano on November 28, 1972 in Cheyenne, WY.
Anita was employed by Birds Eye Foods, retiring in 2008. She enjoyed working on crossword puzzles, watching soap operas and spending time with her family.
Survivors include her husband, Ezequiel Briano of Beloit, WI; five children, Paulo (Felicia) Briano, Julia Mobley both of Beloit, WI, Guadalupe de la Torre of South Beloit, IL, Florence (Scott) Johnson of Janesville, WI, and Aurora Briano of Beloit, WI; 11 grandchildren, Dominique Lewis, Clorissa, Alyssia and Tiera Mobley, Alejandro Rodriguez, Cassandra and Ricardo de la Torre, Jordan and Alexis Johnson, Cashiana Stevenson, Shawndell Summerville and Lamareon Vance; six sisters, Teresa Espinoza, Juanita De Herrera, Larraine Martinez, Christina James, Elizabeth Juarez and Martha Martinez.
She was predeceased by her parents.
Funeral services will be 3:00 p.m. Friday, November 13, 2009 in the Daley Murphy Wisch & Associates Funeral Home and Crematorium 2355 Cranston Road, Beloit, WI, with Fr. Steven Kortendick officiating. Visitation will be from 1 to 3 p.m. Friday in the funeral home.
