Carrie (Steinborn) Rebman, 34, of Beloit, WI, passed away Tuesday, December 8, 2009 in the UW Hospital, Madison, WI, after being diagnosed with acute leukemia.
She was born October 22, 1975 in Beloit, WI, the daughter of Don F. and Valerie Ann (Wright) Steinborn. Carrie attended F. J. Turner High School and was a 2007 graduate of Blackhawk Technical College receiving her associate’s degree in Specialist I.T. She married Ryan C. Rebman on November 19, 1999 in Janesville, WI.
Carrie was employed by Blackhawk Technical College as head of the I.T. program. She then was employed by Visix Support Center in Janesville, WI. Carrie enjoyed reading, listening to music, going to concerts, collecting books, facebook and most of all spending time with her daughter. She was a Green Bay Packer fan.
Survivors include her husband, Ryan Rebman of Janesville, WI; her daughter who was her life, Caitlin Rebman of Janesville, WI; her father, Donald Steinborn of Beloit, WI; her mother, Valerie (Scott Obert) Steinborn of Beloit, WI; sisters, Cindy Steinborn of Schaumburg, IL and Casey (Maurice) Vance of Trempealeau, WI; step sister to be, Danielle Riley; mother-in-law, Chris Bliss of Janesville, WI; father-in-law, William (Susan) Rebman of Janesville, WI; nephews, Kyle and Luke Vance of Trempealeau, WI and Eric Rebman Jr. of Janesville, WI; niece, Kersten Tofte of Janesville, WI; brother-in-law, Eric Rebman of Janesville, WI; sister-in-law, Emily (Nick) Tofte of Janesville, WI; countless aunts, uncles, cousins and friends; and a special friend, Eric Taylor of Beloit, WI.
She was predeceased by her paternal and maternal grandparents.
A celebration of Carrie’s life will be held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, December 13, 2009 in the Daley Murphy Wisch & Associates Funeral Home and Crematorium 2355 Cranston Road, Beloit, WI. Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service on Sunday in the funeral home. A private family burial will be in Pinnacle Hill Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, a trust fund for her daughter, Caitlin will be established.
