Jacqueline “Jackie” M. Bachim, 77, of Beloit, WI, died Sunday, December 20, 2009 in Elmbrook Memorial Hospital, Brookfield, WI.
She was born September 4, 1932 in Beloit, WI, the daughter of Antonio and Rose Tusa Palermo. Jackie was a graduate of South Beloit High School. She married Arnold Bachim on December 2, 1950 in St. Paul’s Catholic Church, Beloit, WI. He predeceased her on August 11, 1990.
Jackie was employed by Freeman Shoe and Mr. G’s, retiring in 1998. She was the past president of the Retarded Citizens of Rock County and the secretary of her bowling league. Jackie was an avid bowler, enjoyed playing cards, fishing, camping and going out to dinner one night a month with her friends.
Survivors include her longtime companion, Frank Pierce of Beloit, WI; her daughter, Betty (Bill) Woodruff of Beloit, WI; grandchildren, Andria (Mark) Perry of Arena, WI and Natalie Marino of Arena, WI; great grandson, Dylan Perry; one sister, Fran Richardson of Rockton, IL.
She was predeceased by her parents, daughter, Jean Bachim, two brothers and three sisters.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 23, 2009 in the Daley Murphy Wisch & Associates Funeral Home and Crematorium 2355 Cranston Road, Beloit, WI, with Pastor David Meding officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Thabor Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service in the funeral home.
