Lillian “Molly” M. (Anderson) Williams, 69, of Beloit, WI, passed away Monday, December 21, 2009 in Beloit Memorial Hospital after a courageous battle with cancer.
She was born January 8, 1940 in Delavan, WI, the daughter of Frank and Evelyn (Kimbrough) Anderson. Molly was a 1958 graduate of Beloit Memorial High School. She married Adolphus Williams on September 14, 1961 in Rockford, IL.
Molly was employed by Beloit Memorial Hospital, retiring in 2006. She was a member of Higher Ground Christian Center where she served as an usher.
Survivors include her husband, Adolphus Williams of Beloit, WI; daughter, Lorna (Nathan Jr.) Allison of Beloit, WI; grandson, Jylon Wisdom of Madison, WI; uncle, J.L. Kimbrough of Atlanta, GA; sister-in-law, Lula Anderson of Beloit, WI; host of nieces and nephews; special friends, Debbie Gessler, Carol Ross and Laura Foster all of Beloit, WI.
She was predeceased by her parents, two sisters, Mildred Wilson and Dolores Stansberry, four brothers, Donald Anderson, Raymond Anderson, Russell Anderson and Michael Anderson, brothers-in-law, David Wilson Sr. and Swiney Stansberry.
Funeral services will be 12:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 29, 2009 in the Higher Ground Christian Center, 3160 Park Avenue, Beloit, WI, with Pastor Sherrick G. Anderson officiating. Burial will be in East Lawn Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service Tuesday in the church. Daley Murphy Wisch & Associates Funeral Home and Crematorium 2355 Cranston Road, Beloit, WI, assisted the family with arrangements.
