Russell G. Fiese Jr., 63, of Beloit, WI, died Saturday, January 2, 2010 in Beloit Memorial Hospital after a long illness of heart disease.
He was born November 8, 1946 in Beloit, WI, the son of Russell and Gloria (Williams) Fiese. Russell married Shelby J. Schroeder on February 11, 1977 in Sun Valley Presbyterian Church.
Russell was employed by Intertractor prior to being disabled. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, baseball, football and played Little League when he was a child. Russell was a faithful member of the Berean Baptist Church were he served as an usher and past board member.
Survivors include his wife of 32 years, Shelby Fiese of Beloit, WI; children, Larry Crank of Chicago, IL, Christopher Fiese of Beloit, WI, Lisa Kraak of Brodhead, WI, Beth (Sean) Lowrey, Russell G. Heffran, Dallas Heffran all of Rockford, IL and Beverly Fiese of Arkansas; nine grandchildren; one great grandchild and one on the way; sisters, Candis (Ray) Wessels, Vicki Stocks and David (Mary) Fiese all of Beloit, WI; he was also survived by several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents, infant son, David Keith Fiese and two great nephews.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 6, 2010 in the Berean Baptist Church 1992 Shopiere Road, Beloit, WI, with Reverend Kelvin Swanson officiating. Burial will be in East Lawn Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service Wednesday in the church. Daley Murphy Wisch & Associates Funeral Home and Crematorium 2355 Cranston Road, Beloit, WI, assisted the family with arrangements.
