Ronald “Ron” E. Aimers, 64, of Beloit, WI, died Saturday, January 16, 2010 in Beloit Memorial Hospital.
He was born January 1, 1946 in Beloit, WI, the son of Robert and Dorothy (Becker) Aimers. Ron was a 1964 graduate of Beloit Memorial High School. He married Nancy Taylor on February 15, 1969 in Beloit, WI.
Ron was a bus driver for the Turner School District for many years. He was also employed by Data Dimensions. Ron was a member of the NRA and Tri City Radio Control group. He enjoyed flying radio control airplanes and helicopters, hunting and fishing. Ron was a Green Bay Packer fan.
Survivors include his wife of 40 years, Nancy Aimers of Beloit, WI; step mother, Viola Halbrader of Willard, WI; brother, Claude Kreger of Carthage, MO; sister, Betty (Roy) Flora of Flatonia, TX; Bother-in-law and sister-in-law, Jim (Tory) Saeger of South Beloit, IL; sister-in-law, Carol Aimers of Beloit, WI; nieces and nephews, Tiffany (Jeff) Desecks of Belvidere, IL, Aimee Aimers of Beloit, WI, Christopher Aimers of Lake Geneva, WI, Debra Kreger of Phoenix, AZ, Christine (Mark) Rios of Greenfield, WI, Paul Saeger of South Beloit, IL, Elizabeth Swenson of South Beloit, IL, William Flora of Dallas, TX, Sean Flora of San Antonio, TX, and Michelle (Russell) Lee of Virginia; great nieces, great nephews, aunt, uncles and cousins.
He was predeceased by his parents and brothers, Michael and Gerry Aimers.
Graveside services will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 20, 2010 in the Shrine of Memories Mausoleum, Floral Lawns Memorial Gardens, South Beloit, IL, with Reverend Craig Ruesch officiating. Daley Murphy Wisch & Associates Funeral Home and Crematorium 2355 Cranston Road, Beloit, WI, assisted the family with arrangements.
