Sharon K. Hughes, 53, of Beloit, WI died Saturday, February 6, 2010 in Premier Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing.
She was born March 28, 1956 in Beloit, WI, the daughter of Clement and Kathryn Wichelt Hughes. Sharon was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Beloit, WI.
She was employed by Kandu Industries as a packager. Sharon enjoyed participating in the Special Olympics, especially bowling. She also enjoyed bingo, puzzles, and was a Green Bay Packer fan.
Survivors include her sister, Jean Johnson of Beloit, WI; brother, Chuck (Sherri) Hughes of Knoxville, TN; niece and nephews, Steve (Lisa) Hughes, Dan (Dori) Hughes, Debbie (Ken) Hemerley all of Beloit, WI, and Mark (Jodi) Johnson of Mario, IA; many great nieces and nephews; and her many friends at Premier Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing.
She was predeceased by her parents, brother, James Hughes, and great niece, Sarah Hughes.
The family wishes to give a special thank you to all of the staff at Premier Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing for the care given to Sharon through the years.
Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, February 9, 2010 in the Daley Murphy Wisch & Associates Funeral Home and Crematorium, 2355 Cranston Road, Beloit, WI with Reverend Aaron Kangas officiating. Burial will be in East Lawn Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service in the funeral home.
