Inez L. Hanson Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Inez Louise Hanson, 81, of Beloit, WI, passed away on Friday, July 15, 2022 in her home. She was born on October 2, 1940, in Beloit, WI, the daughter of Ray and Viola (Emery) Odegaard. She married Gerhardt Hanson on July 13, 1955 in Iowa. He predeceased her on December 12, 2015. Inez was formerly employed by Rock County Health Care Center and Beloit Health Care and Rehabilitation as an LPN until her retirement. She was a member and former secretary of the Beloit Eagles Club Aerie 557. Inez enjoyed reading, puzzles, crafting and playing cards. Survivors include her six children, Cheryl (Charles) Gent of Janesville, WI, Connie (Roger) Sando of Beloit, WI, Cindy (Keith) Alverson of Clinton, TN, Karen (Kenneth) Needham, Ronald Hanson both of Beloit, WI and Kathleen (Dan) Christopherson of Atlanta, GA; 10 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; brothers, Tom (Carla) Odegaard, Cecile Odegaard, James Odegaard and Al (Kitty) Odegaard; and sister, Sharon Gaines. She was predeceased by her parents; sisters, Carol Cannon and Alice Winn; and brother, Ray Odegaard. A Funeral Service for Inez will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, July 22, 2022 in the Daley Murphy Wisch & Associates Funeral Home and Crematorium, 2355 Cranston Rd., Beloit, WI, with Chaplain Mark Maxted officiating. Burial will be in the Orfordville Lutheran Cemetery, Orfordville, WI. Visitation of Remembrance will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service Friday in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials in her name may be made to Beloit Regional Hospice.
