James M. Austin Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

James Maxwell “Max” Austin, 52, of Beloit, WI, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, July 29, 2022 in his home. He was born on June 6, 1970 in Beloit, WI, the son of James and Shirley (Sanborn) Austin. Max was a 1988 Beloit Memorial High School graduate. He married Stacie R. Sullivan on November 11, 2011 in Indiana. Max was formerly employed as a maintenance technician for the Parkview Terrace Apartments. He was also a co-owner of Prairie Display in Indiana. Max was a wonderful husband, brother, father and grandfather. His family was his biggest priority. He enjoyed family gatherings, cookouts, fishing and playing Bags. Max was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan and a WWE fanatic. He loved playing bingo with his wife. Max adored and loved spending time with his children, especially when they were watching their shows together. Survivors include his wife, Stacie Austin; children, Zach Dean, Nathan Austin, Morganne (Annie) Gilbertson, Loggan Gilbertson, Brooke (Zack) Austin, Halie (MoMo) Austin, and Codie Smith; granddaughter, Everleigh “Booger” Perez; siblings, Pamela (Brian) Williams, John Bailey, Lisa Newsom, Troy Ollis, and Gyda (Dave) Hooker; mother-in-law, Cindi Nickelson; brothers-in-law, Tattoo (Tanya) Sullivan and Eddie (Shannon) Pena; nieces and nephews, Corey, Brittany, Katelyn, Demi, Adam, Ian, Sage, Cody, Phoenix, Kaden, Xavier, Senua, Haven and Kevin; special friends, Scotty Flores, Dan Kamppi, Angie Smith, Aaliyah "Willis", Anthanee, and Gary Stevenson; and many other relatives and friends. A Celebration of Life for Max will be held from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 6, 2022 at The Grand Slam, 173 W. Grand Ave., Beloit, WI. Daley Murphy Wisch & Associates Funeral Home and Crematorium, 2355 Cranston Rd., Beloit, WI, assisted the family with arrangements.
