Melvin Leindecker Jr. Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Melvin Leindecker Jr., 63, of Beloit, WI, died Sunday, October 25, 2020 at Riverside Terrace. He was born October 13, 1957 in Rockford, IL, the son of Melvin and Charlotte (Starr) Leindecker Sr. Melvin was a 1975 graduate of South Beloit High School. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. Melvin was employed by Cannonball and ABC Supply. He enjoyed fishing, playing in pool leagues, horseshoes, and cards. He was a Green Bay Packer fan. Survivors include his son, Melvin (Heather) Leindecker III of Janesville, WI; grandchildren, Melvin IV, Curtis, Jasmine and Garret; adopted son, Luis (Summerann) Lopez of Janesville, WI; sisters, Ada (Jimmy) Davidson of South Beloit, IL, Charmel (Jerry) Jacobs of Rockton, IL, JoAnn (Kevin Streit) Hayes of Roscoe, IL; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents, sister, Julie Leindecker and brother-in-law, Mark Hayes. A special thank you to Paul (Amber) Barrows, Anita (Steve) Fields and Beloit Regional Hospice. A memorial visitation of remembrance will be from 3 to 6 p.m. Sunday, November 1, 2020 in the Daley Murphy Wisch & Associates Funeral Home and Crematorium, 2355 Cranston Road, Beloit, WI. Social distancing and face masks are required. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family would be appreciated.
